- Cell phones
- Smartwatches

- Tablets/laptops (unless school-issued and used for instruction)
- Gaming devices
- Radios/pagers/other electronic communication devices
The instructional day begins when a student enters the school building and ends at the final dismissal bell. This policy applies in all areas of the campus, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and the cafeteria—during passing periods and lunch.
Students must keep devices out of sight, turned off or in silent mode, and unused at all times during the school day. Devices may be stored in a student’s backpack.
All SJH staff will consistently uphold and enforce this policy. Students who do not comply will receive consequences in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
