Cell Phone Policy
Beginning on the first day of school, students are not allowed to use personal communication devices while on campus during the school day. Prohibited devices include:
  • Cell phones
  • Smartwatches
  • Earbuds/headphones
  • Tablets/laptops (unless school-issued and used for instruction)
  • Gaming devices
  • Radios/pagers/other electronic communication devices
The instructional day begins when a student enters the school building and ends at the final dismissal bell. This policy applies in all areas of the campus, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and the cafeteria—during passing periods and lunch.
Students must keep devices out of sight, turned off or in silent mode, and unused at all times during the school day. Devices may be stored in a student’s backpack.
All SJH staff will consistently uphold and enforce this policy. Students who do not comply will receive consequences in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.

Lunches
We do not allow visitors during lunch. You are able to drop off food for your child only. DoorDash or other food delivery service orders will not be permitted.

Water Bottles
Students may bring and use personal water bottles in classrooms and other areas outside the cafeteria only if the bottle is a clear plastic container. Glass bottles are not permitted. Bottles must contain WATER only. No other beverages are permitted.

Foundation Corner

Community Support. Classroom Possibilities.
When our community comes together, great things happen for Splendora students!
Thank you to everyone who supported the Splendora ISD Education Foundation’s Men (& Women) Who Cook—from our chefs and sponsors to our volunteers and guests. Your generosity helps the Foundation fund educator grants and student opportunities across Splendora ISD.
Behind every Foundation event is a bigger purpose: giving teachers the resources to bring creative ideas to life and helping students discover new possibilities. We’re grateful to the people and businesses who make that work possible.
Want to be part of what’s next? You can give, volunteer, or share your career experience with students. Visit splendoraisdeducationfoundation.com to learn more.
